Design Inspiration from the Most Absurd Aspects of Life

As a UI designer, I often find myself drawing inspiration from the world around me. From the sleek lines of a sports car to the intuitive layout of a well-designed website, there are countless examples of good design in the real world.

But as much as I love to admire the beauty of a perfectly-proportioned logo or a well-balanced color scheme, there are also times when I find myself inspired by the more absurd and humorous aspects of life. Here are a few things that I've found to be particularly inspiring as a UI designer:

- The hilarious misadventures of my cat: There's nothing quite like watching my feline friend get himself into all sorts of crazy situations to get my creative juices flowing. Whether he's trying to squeeze into a tiny box or getting his head stuck in a bowl, my cat never fails to remind me that good design should be flexible and adaptable to unexpected situations.

- The over-the-top displays at a trade show: There's something about the garish colors and flashy graphics at a trade show that always manages to catch my eye. As a designer, I find it fascinating to see how different companies try to stand out from the crowd and grab attention with their displays. Even if some of the designs are a bit too much for my taste, they always provide a good source of inspiration for thinking outside the box.

- The absurdity of political memes on social media: As a designer, I have a deep appreciation for a good meme. And when it comes to political memes, there's no shortage of material to work with. From photoshopped images of politicians with hilarious captions to cleverly-designed infographics, the world of political memes is a treasure trove of inspiration for a UI designer.

In the end, I think the best designs are the ones that capture the humor and absurdity of life, while still being intuitive and user-friendly. So the next time you're feeling stuck on a design project, take a step back and look at the world around you. You never know what you might find that will inspire your next great idea!
