When I set out to design
UpMuun, the goal was deceptively simple: create a crypto platform so effortless that anyone could swap, stake, or bridge assets across blockchains with complete privacy and confidence. In a space filled with cluttered interfaces and intimidating workflows, I wanted UpMuun to feel like the opposite , calm, elegant, and intelligent.
UpMuun is a privacy-driven AI crypto platform that allows users to perform anonymous swaps, stake tokens, and earn rewards, all within a seamless, beginner-friendly experience. The challenge was to translate complex blockchain operations into a design that feels as intuitive as sending a message.
The platform was built to simplify one core interaction: swapping crypto assets anonymously. While most DeFi tools overwhelm users with settings, slippage controls, and technical data, UpMuun focuses on clarity and trust.
The tri-panel layout creates balance between data visibility and action simplicity. Users see the intelligence of the platform without being forced to interact with it unless they want to. Switching from Public to Private mode triggers a smooth transition, the interface darkens slightly, representing the shift into a protected state. Every component, from dropdowns to confirmation screens, was designed to inspire calm and confidence.
The platform includes:
- A main swap interface powered by AI recommendations.
- User and admin dashboards for transaction tracking, staking, and payouts.
- A widget system for website integrations.
- A staking and rewards experience encouraging engagement and loyalty.
- A responsive marketing site that explains the platform with visual storytelling.
Beyond UX and UI, I also designed the UpMuun logo and motion identity, creating a cohesive brand system that reinforces the platform’s concept of flow, movement, and transparency.
The UpMuun logo, was designed to capture the feeling of orbit, rhythm, and upward motion. The stretched, flowing typography symbolizes both momentum and balance, while the circular accent dot represents a guiding moon, the platform’s symbol for privacy and light within darkness.
The animation reflects that concept in motion: the logo stretches and glides horizontally, evoking both gravity and lift. This animation appears on loading states and hero sections, giving the brand a sense of kinetic calm, movement without chaos.
Building the Dashboard Ecosystem
Once the swap tool was defined, I expanded the design system to support user and admin dashboards. These panels handle everything from transaction history to payout requests, built on a scalable grid system and consistent component library.
TXO History Dashboard
Users can review swap histories with filtering, status indicators, and detailed transaction data.
Admin & Superadmin Dashboards
Admins can monitor platform health, manage users, and track transactions. Designing this layer required creating flexible table systems, pagination patterns, and search filters that feel cohesive yet powerful. Each dashboard view feels consistent yet distinct, unified by typography, spacing, and a shared visual rhythm.
Widget System
The widget mirrors the main swap interface but scales responsively and can be embedded with or without query parameters. To simplify integration, I designed an instructional page with copy-to-clipboard snippets and setup visuals. The result is a lightweight, brand-consistent component that extends UpMuun’s ecosystem across the web.
Staking & Earning
After the swap flow, the next major experience was the staking module, designed to make participation feel rewarding, not intimidating.
Users can see stake duration, estimated rewards, and current tiers at a glance. Subtle animations highlight staking progress, and a vibrant pink accent marks reward actions like “ Unstake & Claim.” By blending clarity with small emotional touches, the design makes DeFi engagement approachable.
Visual System & Design Language
The UpMuun interface uses a lunar-inspired visual system: deep gradients, glowing edges, and soft shadows to evoke confidence and calm. The UI applies subtle depth and glow to guide the eye, while modern typography maintains clarity across dark surfaces. This consistent design language, applied from dashboards to marketing, gives UpMuun a signature identity that feels futuristic yet grounded.
Designing the Marketing Experience
Beyond the product, I designed the marketing website to tell the story visually. Every section simplifies a technical concept through typography and motion. The “ Why UpMuun” page anchors the narrative, explaining privacy, AI intelligence, and automation as pillars of the brand.
Impact and Outcomes
Through a deliberate UX process and visual clarity, UpMuun evolved from concept to a fully unified, production-ready crypto platform. The result is a system that feels effortless to use and trustworthy at every level. From brand to bot, everything in UpMuun moves in sync, smooth, intelligent, and private.
Reflection
Designing UpMuun was a comprehensive and rewarding project for me. It combined everything I love about product design, systems thinking, brand storytelling, and emerging technology. It taught me that the true challenge of crypto design isn’t visualizing data. it’s visualizing trust. UpMuun represents that philosophy, privacy without complexity, intelligence without noise, and design that speaks quietly but powerfully.
